Liability and Medical Disclaimer

I maintain a safe, sterile, fully disposable setup and follow bloodborne pathogens training and industry safety standards. By choosing to get tattooed, you acknowledge that tattoos break the skin and carry a small risk of infection, allergic reaction, scarring, ink rejection, or other complications. Results vary based on skin type, placement, lifestyle, and aftercare.

I am not a medical provider and cannot diagnose or treat medical issues. If you experience unusual symptoms, worsening pain, spreading redness, or anything concerning, contact a licensed medical professional.

Please disclose any medical conditions, allergies, medications, or recent procedures that could affect your tattoo or healing.

Deposits and Art Fees

A deposit is required to book an appointment.

Predrawn designs

A $50 deposit claims the design and reserves your appointment. This deposit goes toward the final tattoo cost.

Custom designs

A $75 deposit starts the drawing process. Complex projects may need a higher deposit, discussed ahead of time. All deposits go toward the final cost unless noted otherwise.

When an art fee is required

Some projects need more prep, research, or separated design work than a standard deposit covers. In those cases, an art fee is used instead. An art fee pays for the artwork itself and does not go toward the tattoo. If an art fee applies, you will know before any work begins. No surprise charges.

Revisions

Each design includes up to three small revisions at no extra cost. Larger changes, repeated redraws, or switching concepts may require an added fee or move the project into art fee territory. This will always be discussed before any extra work begins.

Numbing

Your comfort matters, and numbing can be a helpful tool when used correctly.

In studio numbing

I offer professional grade numbing during the appointment when appropriate. This is applied after the stencil is placed or during breaks as needed.

Early arrival for numbing

If you want to come in early to be numbed before your appointment time, there is a $25 fee. This covers the extra time and setup required outside of your scheduled session.

Using your own numbing at home

You are welcome to apply your own topical numbing cream before your appointment if you choose. Please follow the product instructions carefully. I will work with your skin as it presents when you arrive.

How numbing affects the session

Numbing can take the edge off but will not remove all sensation. Some products may cause the skin to feel rubbery or swollen, which can slow the tattoo process. If that happens, I will let you know and adjust as needed.

Important note

Do not apply numbing spray to broken skin. Sprays are only safe when I apply them during the session.

Content and Safety Boundaries

Safety First

I do not tattoo clients who are pregnant or nursing. I also will not tattoo over areas with recent injections, fillers, or surgery if the skin is broken, irritated, sunburned, or still healing. Your skin must be fully healed before tattooing.

Hate symbols

I do not tattoo anything rooted in hate, discrimination, or intimidation. This includes swastikas, white power imagery, MAGA or Trump content, confederate flags, nooses, and any symbol used to cause harm. Despite what our government claims, these are still hate symbols.

Crosses, crucifixes, or Bible verses

I do not tattoo crosses, crucifixes, or Bible verses. These symbols are tied to personal trauma and are not something I bring into my space.

Violence or cruelty

I do not create imagery that glorifies pain, abuse, or cruelty. Honoring survival is fine. Celebrating aggression is not.

Face tattoos and permanent makeup

I do not tattoo faces or offer cosmetic tattooing. These require training and considerations outside my scope.

Genitals

Nope. Just nope.

Outside my style

My work focuses on illustrative, watercolor, iconic, archaic, witchy, and floral designs. I do not take projects that rely on anime, hyperrealism, or styles outside my strengths.

Copying other artists

I will not replicate another artist’s work exactly. References are welcome for inspiration, but your design will be original.

Tattoos that will not last

I will decline designs that are too tiny or overly detailed to age well. I will always suggest alternatives that hold up over time.

Cancellations, Rescheduling, and No Shows

I need at least 24 hours notice to cancel or move an appointment. Less than 24 hours notice results in the loss of your deposit or art fee. If you need to reschedule, I will get you into the next available opening. Illness is handled case by case.

Late arrivals

There is a small grace window, but arriving late cuts into your tattoo time. Arriving more than twenty minutes late without contacting me counts as a no show.

No shows

Not arriving and not contacting me is a no show. No shows forfeit the deposit or art fee and must pay a new one to rebook.

Pricing and Payment

My rates are based on size, detail, and the time needed for each piece. You’ll always get an estimate before we book.

Hourly and flat rates

Most tattoos are billed by the hour or by the piece. Some projects may need an art fee before design work begins. Quotes are estimates and may shift based on the final in-chair time.

Payment methods

I accept card, cash, CashApp, and Venmo. I do not take Zelle or checks. Deposits are paid through CashApp or Venmo at scheduling.

Tips

Tips are never expected but always appreciated.

Price changes

Rates may adjust over time. Any change to your quoted rate will be communicated before your appointment.

Behavior and Hygiene

I want every appointment to feel comfortable, respectful, and safe. Please arrive clean, sober, and ready for your session.

Hygiene expectations

Wear clean, comfortable clothing that gives access to the tattoo area. Avoid strong fragrances. Arrive freshly showered with clean skin. Skip heavy lotions, oils, or self tanner that day.

Substances

No alcohol before or during your appointment. It thins blood and causes more pain and bleeding. If you arrive under the influence, the session is cancelled and the deposit or art fee is forfeited.

Guests

One guest is welcome. My studio is a private space and there simply isn’t room for more than one.

Respectful conduct

This is a calm, professional environment. Harassment, inappropriate comments, hostility, or disruptive behavior will end the session with no refund.

Age Requirements

I tattoo clients who are 18 and older.

I also tattoo clients who are 17 with a parent or legal guardian present for the entire appointment. Both must bring a valid government issued photo ID. School IDs, screenshots, or expired IDs cannot be accepted.

For minors who are 17, I will tattoo only appropriate and non intimate areas. I do not tattoo ribs, sternum, stomach, hips, or any placement that carries sexual or suggestive connotations. Arms, legs, shoulders, ankles, and upper back are generally acceptable as long as the design is appropriate.

I do not tattoo anyone under 17.

Touch Ups and Aftercare,

You’ll receive clear verbal and written aftercare instructions at your appointment. Following them is essential for a clean heal and the long term look of your tattoo.

Touch ups are free within one year. If a spot heals light or needs reinforcing, reach out and we’ll get it scheduled. Wait at least four weeks between tattoo sessions on the same area.

Photography and Social Media

I take photos of your tattoo for my portfolio, website, and social media. I avoid identifying features like your face unless you specifically allow it.

Your consent form lets you choose whether your tattoo may be shared publicly. If you check no, your photos stay private.

You’re welcome to take your own photos as long as it doesn’t interrupt the tattoo process. Please ask before filming.

I will never post private details or inappropriate images of clients or their bodies.
