Star[Cheeto]Dust is a tribute to the scrappy, chaotic spirit of the ultimate scavenger. This piece depicts a highly determined raccoon in a custom, DIY spacesuit fashioned from a roll of duct tape with a torn sock for a sleeve and a high tech jetpack made from a Froot Loops box and soda bottles. He is drifting through the dark woodstain void in pursuit of a single, glowing snack.

The artwork is a play on the contrast between the vastness of the cosmos and the desperate, hilarious ingenuity of a trash panda on a mission. The piece is brought to life using deep pyrography and watercolor. The bright orange tones of the snack and the cereal box pop against the spacey, dark background.
