Reclamation Tattoo & Oddities is building something different:
A cultural shift in the tattoo industry, and in every creative and community space that has never quite known how to include us.
The Vision
Reclamation Tattoo & Oddities is building a permanent home in the Denver metro area. This is a trauma-informed sanctuary for tattooing, oddities, and community. We’re creating a space where you never have to mask and your sensory needs aren't an afterthought.
Why Community Funding?
The buildout is backed by a combination of business capital, partner investment, and traditional financing. But community funding does something those sources can't. Through our fiscal sponsorship with Fractured Atlas, your donation is tax-deductible, your contribution directly supports a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and every dollar goes toward programming and infrastructure that exists purely to serve people, not to turn a profit. We built this ourselves and kept it simple, because every dollar you give should go where you meant it to go.
The Build
We are building the space that does not exist yet. A permanent home for trauma-informed tattooing, community programming, and a sister shop network designed for people who have never quite fit anywhere else. Your contribution funds SPICY programming and helps get those doors open.
Current Progress: Buildout Funded!
New Goal: $3,000 for Community Programming
Our initial funding goal was met through individual contributions and a new financial partner. We are now raising $3,000 to fund our first year of community programming, including free and low-cost events, instructor fees, sister shop network development, and the supplies to make it all happen. Donations through our Fractured Atlas fiscal sponsorship are tax-deductible.
Join the SPICY Collective
SPICY is the community programming arm of Reclamation Tattoo & Oddities (aka Reclamation & Relic), built to make sensory-safe, trauma-informed spaces the norm rather than the exception. Through workshops, sister shop partnerships, DIY apothecary classes, art and craft courses, and small business support for neurodivergent owners, SPICY creates real, repeatable tools for building more accessible communities. Every contribution funds programming and helps expand a network of vetted spaces that neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, and trauma-affected people can actually trust. Supporting this work means you are part of building something that has never quite existed before.

The Reclamation Standard
The Reclamation Standard is a set of operational protocols built on one core belief: a tattoo studio should support your nervous system, not overwhelm it. We are expanding more than square footage. We are expanding the reach of intentional safety.
Sensory Control: Total client control over sound, lighting, and scent, including strictly unscented options.
Tailored Communication: Options for silent appointments or fully narrated sessions. No performance required.
Standardized Aftercare: Healing protocols and accessible apothecary balms that stay with you long after the session ends.
Love this plan? Let’s build it.
Tax-deductible donations for SPICY community programming are now open through our fiscal sponsorship with Fractured Atlas. Funds go directly toward workshops, sister shop network development, instructor partnerships, and the tools to make it all happen.
Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! Reclamation & Relic is fiscally sponsored by Fractured Atlas, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations made through our Fractured Atlas fundraising page are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
-
Every dollar goes directly into SPICY community programming. This includes instructor and facilitator fees, workshop supplies, sister shop network development, and the planning infrastructure to make it all real. We are building something the arts funding world has never quite seen before, and your contribution makes it possible.
-
We are committed to making SPICY happen. If we do not hit our full goal, we will adjust the scope or extend our timeline, but every dollar will still go toward programming. Funds contributed through Fractured Atlas are held in a restricted fund and disbursed for project purposes, so we are unable to offer refunds. Your support moves this forward no matter what.
-
Yes. If you have supplies, materials, or resources that could support community programming or workshop facilitation, reach out and let us know what you have. We would much rather give a second life to great items than buy new ones. In-kind donations made through Fractured Atlas may be tax-deductible at fair market value, though acceptance is subject to Fractured Atlas approval. Donors should consult their own tax advisor to confirm deductibility for their specific situation.

We are currently securing the permanent space that will serve as SPICY's home base, with a target opening in late 2026. In the meantime, we are laying the groundwork through community gatherings and sister shop partnerships. Every supporter will be kept in the loop through our newsletter and social media as things take shape.
SPICY is bigger than a programming calendar. It is a model for what happens when the people who have always been excluded from mainstream creative spaces decide to build their own. Workshops, sister shop partnerships, hands-on classes, and small business support for neurodivergent owners. All of it designed from the ground up for nervous systems that mainstream spaces never bothered to consider.
