Reclamation Tattoo & Oddities: Specialized Care for Body Art and Curated Ritual.
Reclamation Tattoo & Oddities is built on the belief that nervous system support is a right, not a luxury. We provide a sensory safe trauma informed sanctuary. Whether you are navigating a history of trauma, living with a neurospicy brain, or just like some goddamn peace and quiet, our space is designed to help you remain regulated and empowered throughout your session.
The Ink & The Kitchen Sink
Reclamation Tattoo & Oddities is a single, unified space in a Denver suburb where curated retail and intentional body art live side by side. We are a women-owned business proving that sustainable art and community care belong together.
Sensory & Sensitive Tattoo Experience
This is the origin of our mission. A private and quiet zone dedicated to Sensory-Sensitive and Trauma-informed Tattooing - or - the Reclamation Standard. Created and cultivated by a neurospicy mind with a need for quiet conditions, this studio is built to provide body art in an environment that heals more trauma than it causes.
The Community Ritual Space
This is our front door. A curated retail area and community third space featuring ethically sourced oddities, ritual tools, and local makers. It is a low barrier entry point designed for those who want to explore, ground themselves, and find comfort in a witchy inclusive environment without the pressure of an appointment.

Cami Thunder
Founder, Artist & Creative Director
The Artist & Neurodivergent Perspective
Cami Thurber is a tattoo artist specializing in illustrative work with a focus on neurodivergent environment support, body reclamation and scar coverage. Her AuDHD informs every aspect of the studio’s design and operational model, from sensory engineering to client communication protocols. Every element of the client experience is designed to provide agency, comfort, and nervous system regulation.
The Business & Marketing Mind
Before tattooing, Cami spent nearly two decades in the marketing industry, founding, building, and selling a marketing agency. This background drives a lean operational structure where all brand strategy, content, design, and digital systems are managed internally. Reclamation Tattoo has been profitable since its first month of operation.
Shell Regan
Co-Founder & Vendor Manager
The Retail Intuition
Shell has always felt other people. The room, the mood, what is not being said out loud. It is a gift shaped by her own journey, and it has defined how she moves through the world. She came to Colorado from Phoenix in 2016 and has since worked as a potter, a caregiver, in childcare, marketing, and retail. She is raising two daughters to be their truest selves, and she meets everyone else the same way.
The Community Architect
As vendor manager and capital partner, Shell manages vendor relationships and organizes workshops and events for the space. In a space built around trauma awareness, neurodivergence, and sensory sensitivity, she is often the first person to make that real for someone coming through the door.
The Reclamation Standard
The Reclamation Standard is not an aesthetic preference. It is a set of rigorous operational protocols designed for nervous system support. We do not operate on the high stimulation model of a standard shop. Every aspect of the space is a deliberate choice made to accommodate neurodivergent and sensory sensitive populations.

The Path Forward
Current Phase: Paperwork and Planning
While we have a prospective location in mind, this project is a proof of concept for now. We are finalizing business plans, finances, structure, and lease locations for the studio and apothecary.
Next: The Buildout
The physical transformation begins. This phase focuses on the construction of our sensory friendly environment and community room.
